REMAKE EP STRIKES BACK!

Last summer I had the idea to arrange and record a few covers to give away on the newly designed http://www.nickflora.com and as I was working up what songs to cover, I realized the few I’d chosen came to my attention due to their placement in movies.  “Let Me Love Open The Door” in Dan In Real Life, “Where Is My Mind” in Fight Club, etc.  So, I just ran with it and made the criteria for the EP “songs that I had come to love through their placement in some of my favorite films.”  It was fun and challenging and turned out great, I think!

So here we are a year later and…

I’m proud to announce the release of the newest installment in the Remake EP saga:  REMAKE EP STRIKES BACK!   And it is now available for FREE download at http://www.nickflora.com.  No donation needed, no email list you HAVE to sign up for, just good, ol’ fashioned, free download.  Go get it: http://www.nickflora.com

The Songs:

1. “Whole Wide World” originally by Wreckless Eric (from the movie “Stranger Than Fiction”)
2. “Let Go” originally by Frou Frou (from the movie “Garden State”)
3. “Strangers” originally by The Kinks (from the movie “The Darjeeling Limited”)
4. “Little Person” originally by Jon Brion (from the movie “Synecdoche, NY”)
5. “You’re the Voice” originally by John Farnham (from the movie “Hot Rod”)

QUICK THANKS:
Mr. Jon Eichler did an exceptional job on the web design portion of getting the EP out, and the one and only Tyler Clark designed the EP cover itself, which looks pretty great as well.  Get at these guys if you need quality design work done.  For realz.

The recording, mixing, and mastering were done at Red Couch Productions by Michael Spooner and the background vocals and keys were played by none other than the talented Ms. Stacy Lantz.

Thanks for checking out the new EP!  I’m excited to get it in your earbuds!
